Since her recruitment I knew immediately that Dai was unique. Out of all the operatives she was the most quiet. Most of the team kept their distance but they would all have their assumptions or guesses as to her origins and background but most were wrong. Most didn't even know she existed. A lot of demigods worth anything were well known as to their lineage and prowess. Not Dai. Her expertise and combat effectiveness was one of a kind. It was always an honor to see her in action. In all my years as a god she was one of the few mortals that surprised me. She stood at 5'5'' But her size didn't hinder her at all. Her light gray eyes were often blank and she often looked as if she was looking past what was in front of her. The eyes of the Moirai surely had a part in that. Looking through those eyes caused issues with her normal eye. I honestly couldn't tell you what she saw unless I could see through her own eye but it must have been very painful or fearful of using it because when she wasn't wearing the eyes she kept her left eye securely covered. Due to the eye cover her hair often fell to the left. An interesting thing about her hair was that it changed. Not in style but in color. It was mostly black but would change to a silvery white sometimes. What makes the change is unknown to the team. But to me or anyone who knows her origins, it made sense.
Though her quietness left her unknown to most, I knew about her the moment I met her. I felt it. Her secret would put the bravest on edge but still.........I trusted her. I could depend on Dai for anything though that has changed after what I've done. I know it. She was silent and emotionless to most but I could see right though her. Her slightest expression or movement said a lot. Where the team saw nothing I could read her like a book. She cared about them so much. She would die for any one of them. The team thought her fearless the way she would carry out missions without objection. There was only two things you'd get........her acceptance and her completion of the task at hand. I knew her fear though. Besides the harm of any member of this team she feared the discovery of her darkest secret. I feared that for her too. After all I've done I still fear that for her.
